In
early 2004 Mark Malkoff wrote and filmed a ten minute comedy short
involving his formation of the first ever Guns N'Roses kids tribute
band, Li'l Gn'r. This resulted in international
press is Rolling Stone Magazine, Spin, Guitar World, NY
Post, Q Magazine, The Guardian, and LA Times.
The
May 2004 issue of Esquire named Li'l Gn'r the
number one most remarkable thing in culture. They were
also featured in the VH-1 special, "Guns
N'Roses A-Z" as the letter "L".
The
kids, ages 7-12, have played venues all over New York City including
the famed GBGB's, B.B. Kings, Joe's Pub, Crash Mansion,
Arlene's Grocery, and a one-year olds birthday party
on the Upper East Side.
